The Purpose:

The client is seeking an experienced Software Tester to assist the department's Enterprise Service Management and Digital Foundation Programs to drive strategy, business, technical and program delivery outcomes. The client is consolidating and transforming its IT and Enterprise Service Management capability. This position will report directly to the Program Manager, Enhanced Service Management working closely with the ESM Transformation Lead.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tester with experience in QA methodology
  • UAT - user acceptance testing
  • Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of Service Management software a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and problem-solving

Key activities and outcomes include:

  • Review and analyse system specifications
  • Collaborate with SME's to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Evaluate output, create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and help troubleshoot issues including execute post-release/ implementation testing

Eligibility: Given the role the client is seeking applicants with Australian citizenship and able to gain a Federal Government AGSVA Baseline Clearance
